You're here!? When last I wrote you I was babbling about feats of clay so I took it upon myself to enter this year. Unfortunately submissions are over and very unfortunately I wasn't accepted. But from what I've seen of your work, just get a good picture and get it in! You'd make it for sure! So maybe 2011?

I know how important it is for me to be submitting work for shows and Feats of Clay looks awesome but I just get so irritated by submission and entrance fees. I mean I feel like I'm giving them what I think is good work FOR FREE for THEM to display and they want to charge me for it? It just rubs me the wrong way, ya know? You have some beautiful stuff so it's their loss!! Thank you so much for the encouragement- it really means a lot 
I know what you mean. Last year I answered a call to artists in Reno and created a block print for the show. I delivered the framed print and went back for the show/auction to find that they'd canceled. Oh, yea, there was an entry fee. So I asked for all of it back and have never worked with them again! But not everyone is like that. Feats of Clay probably has an entry fee, but you have a chance to sell your work at the show. It always blows me away how little ceramicists ask for their work. But sculpture, like yours, put a high price on it and it will sell.

So where in the Bay Area do you live? I was born in Oakland and grew up in Hayward for the first 11 years of my life. I really dig your work, how long you been doing the art thing?
I live in Fremont. Very exciting Lived here most of my life except for a brief spell in Berkeley for school. Where are you at school for your MFA? I really seriously dig your work. Love the clean lines and that you aren't afraid to use color.
